AFTER:
A Post-Postpartum Support Group for Toddler Moms

Support for the stage no one prepares you for.

You made it through pregnancy. You survived the newborn phase. You expected it to get easier after that — so why is it still so hard?

AFTER is a supportive, non-therapy group for moms navigating life with toddlers (roughly 1–3 years postpartum).

This stage often comes with less external support, more emotional demand, and the quiet expectation that you should be “back to normal.” Many moms feel exhausted, overwhelmed, guilty, or lost—while wondering why no one talks about this part.

This group offers a space to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of the emotional realities of post-postpartum life.

Who this group is for:

AFTER is a good fit for moms who:

  • Are parenting a toddler and feel chronically overwhelmed or depleted

  • Notice more reactivity, guilt, or burnout than they expected at this stage

  • Feel disconnected from who they were before motherhood

  • Want support but don’t necessarily need or want therapy right now

  • Are craving honest conversation with other moms who get it

What to expect:

This is a non-therapy support group that blends honest discussion, community support, and practical tools to tackle the challenges associated with this phase — from the rage-guilt cycle to the ongoing new mom identity shifts that come with this tage.

Topics may include:

  • Why this stage is uniquely hard (and why that makes sense)

  • Toddler emotions and parental reactivity

  • Guilt, comparison, and the invisible mental load

  • Identity shifts after survival mode

  • Burnout, exhaustion, and sustainable self-care

  • Relationships, boundaries, and asking for help
