Dr. Meghan Goulet

Welcome, I am so glad you are here! I’m Dr. Meghan Goulet, a licensed clinical psychologist in California (PSY33727). I specialize in supporting couples and high-functioning adults as they navigate anxiety, chronic stress, and trauma, as well as significant life changes such as the transition into parenthood, career shifts, and relational evolution. I am particularly passionate about providing a dedicated therapeutic space for women to prioritize their own growth and well-being.

My therapeutic style is warm, relational, and collaborative, with a touch of humor. I believe meaningful change is grounded in a trusting, authentic connection, so I prioritize building genuine rapport and attuning to each client’s unique identities and lived experiences—both within and beyond the therapy room.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and my Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. My training spans diverse settings, including the National Center for PTSD, Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and the Palo Alto VA. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT), along with trauma-focused treatments including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation (STAIR).

My approach is integrative and flexible, tailored to your individual needs. A core part of this work is meeting you where you are. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning with prior experience, we’ll focus on what feels most important to you right now.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring great food, teaching fitness classes, being in nature, and watching reality TV.
