    Intrusive thoughts, mental rituals, and compulsions can be incredibly distressing—especially during pregnancy and postpartum, when fear and responsibility can feel heightened. If you’re experiencing OCD symptoms during this season, you are not alone, and effective help is available.

    Our 12-week therapy group for pregnant and postpartum women experiencing OCD is a structured, evidence-based program designed to reduce OCD symptoms, increase confidence and flexibility, and provide connection with other moms who truly understand what you’re going through.

    Who This Group Is For

    This group is good fit for pregnant and postpartum women who:

    Experience intrusive thoughts or images

    Engage in compulsions or mental rituals

    Feel stuck in cycles of reassurance-seeking or avoidance

    Want specialized OCD treatment in a supportive group setting

    What to Expect

    This is a virtual, 60-minute weekly treatment group where participants will:

    Learn skills from Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

    Practice tools that reduce OCD symptoms and improve quality of life

    Build connection with other moms experiencing perinatal OCD

    Complete between-session exercises to support real-life change

    Group Details

    Led by:Dr. Julia Birt & Dr. Caroline Dickens, licensed clinical psychologists specializing in perinatal mental health and OCD

    Format: Closed group with 6–8 participants (same members each week to support safety, trust, and depth)

    Schedule: Mondays, 10:00–11:00am (virtual)

    Duration: 12 weeks

    Start Date: February 2026

    Eligibility: Participants must reside in California

    Cost: $75 per session
